Should I Ask him?

I've put tefillin on Yon in the public before.
But this time... Should I ask him? I have kids with me, he has family with him. We're in Sprouts shopping after all.... He's done it before...

I'll ask. "Wanna do it?"

"Sure. Of course. Anytime"

I give Mendel the credit card to pay for our groceries.

Yon puts on proudly infront of the whole store.

That's true Jewish Pride.

All Eyes watching

There is something very special about our town square. Anything is possible there. Almost every time I stop by there, there's another story, animal, wandered, instrument or piece of art. This makes it a special place to do lots of Mitzvos proudly.  As a chabad Rabbi, I always take my tefillin around to perform this special Mitzvah. Dating back to Sinai, this mitzvah gives a special ominous protection to our brethren around the world, but especially in Israel. Whenever done at the square curious eyes watch, and people excitedly ask what the significance is.

The Mikvah waters!

Went on a wonderful hike with the family, and a couple other families.  The water in Wolf Creek Falls was flowing strong. It was a good reminder of the need for this community to have a mikvah. The mikvah waters are the foundation of the Jewish community. If anyone wants to get involved with this special Mitzvah let us know.
